A day of entertainment was enjoyed by people of all ages on Sunday when Denver hosted its annual family fun day.

The event, which was held on the village playing field, saw dozens take part in a number of activities.

One highlight was the village’s second It’s a Knockout competition which saw a number of local businesses go head-to-head during a variety of challenges.

Animal displays, dance shows and stalls were also on the day’s programme, as well as a fun dog show sponsored by Ward Gethin Archer solicitors and with prizes supplied by Jurassic Bark.

A post on the event’s Facebook page said: “Thanks to everyone who came along today. It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves in the sun.”
