Dozens enjoy Sunset Health Walk along Hunstanton seafront

A total of 45 people – not to mention three dogs – joined the Sunset Health Walk in Hunstanton on Friday.

West Norfolk Council and West Norfolk Walking for Health teamed up again to stage the ‘Health Walk’ along the seafront in Hunstanton.

The gentle three-and-a-half-mile walk started at the bandstand on The Green at 6.30pm and headed along the prom towards Heacham, as the sun set over a high tide.

West Norfolk Walking for Health stages a comprehensive programme of walks around the area which offer fitness and friendship.

People can walk at their own pace, under-18s are welcome accompanied by an adult, and dogs are allowed on a short fixed lead.

The walk, which was free of charge (although a small donation to Walking for Health was welcomed), took place as part of Hunstanton’s Heritage Gardens lottery-funded activities.
