Driver arrested after knife and mallet found in car in Dersingham

A driver was arrested yesterday after he was caught with a knife and a mallet in his car in a West Norfolk village.

Police say the weapons were found within reach of the driver when the vehicle was stopped in Dersingham on Sunday afternoon.

Officers said on social media that the detained man was also wanted in connection with an incident of theft in Lynn last month.
