Driver rushed to hospital after two-vehicle crash in Ashwicken

A driver was rushed to hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in Ashwicken.

Police received a call yesterday at 5.07pm after reports of a collision between two cars on the junction between the B1145 and Leziate Drove.

Appliances attended the scene and released the drivers using hydraulic rescue equipment.

The incident caused traffic to build up along the road while emergency services were on the scene.

One driver was taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further care.

Police have confirmed their injuries were minor.
