Police appeal for witnesses after driver taken to hospital with serious injuries following crash in Terrington St Clement




Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a crash which saw one person taken to hospital with serious injuries.

At around 6.55am on Monday, the two-vehicle collision was reported on Moat Road in Terrington St Clement.

It involved a silver Toyota Yaris which was travelling towards Bullock Road, and a blue Ford Focus which was heading north towards the A17.

The driver of the Yaris was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn with serious injuries. The Ford Focus failed to stop at the scene.

Following enquiries, a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent and failing to stop.

He was taken to the Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the crash.
