King's Lynn Duke's Head Hotel revamp could make a wedding hotspot

Lynn’s Duke's Head Hotel is undergoing an eight-week refurbishment after 12 years of the same exterior.

With the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee approaching, the hotel is aiming to complete all of its renovation, including a new extensive afternoon tea menu, a refurbished restaurant and a new private room to house smaller groups of people.

Scaffolding has been put up outside of the hotel, rendering and repainting after its last refurbishment from 12 years ago.

Their main addition to the plans is for a new bridal suite room, taking their total of bedrooms to 80, in a hope to attract more engaged couples and those looking for wedding venues.
