Bridget bids farewell to West Winch

Have your say

A teacher is retiring after nearly 40 years in the job.

Bridget Branford worked at West Winch Primary School for more than 39 years.

Employed by former headteacher Arthur Newby back in April 1976, Mrs Branford has worked at the school ever since, teaching thousands of pupils along the way.

There was a special afternoon of songs, memories and guests to celebrate and mark Mrs Branford’s retirement and she will be sorely missed by everyone connected with the school. Mrs Branford pictured on her last day of teaching at West Winch Primary School. MLNF15MF070147.
