Students from the College of West Anglia gave up their Saturday to give Lynn a spring clean fit for The Queen in support of the national ‘Clean for the Queen’ campaign; a nationwide initiative which aims to clean up Britain in time for the Queen’s 90th birthday in June. Andrew Gedge, from the College of West Anglia, said: “In recognition of the excellent relationship between West Norfolk Council and the College we decided that we would want to invest in collecting rubbish along Greenpark Avenue. It was a real privilege to have been a member of a set of young people wanting to positively improve the environment for others.”
