Youngsters at a Lynn school have been settling into their new IT suite after it was given the civic seal of approval this week.
The new facility at the Reffley Community School was opened by borough mayor Colin Manning during his visit on Monday morning.
The project, which cost more than £40,000, has been led by the school’s governing body, who have worked with Norfolk County Council and a host of IT professionals.
And Nick Varley, the school’s ICT project manager, believes the result is one of the best facilities of its kind at any primary school in the county.
He said: “The suite incorporates bespoke desking custom built for the room, air conditioning hidden into a suspended ceiling with high efficiency lighting panels and a large learning wall.
“Together with new carpets, energy efficient window tinting and new chairs, the result is fantastic.”
