A cyclathon week at Springwood Sixth Form raised almost £180 for West Norfolk Mind.

From Tuesday, June 7 to Friday, June 10, students took it in turns to ride bikes during free periods and also challenged teachers and friends to join in see how far they could travel in a week, which in total came to 372.2 miles.

Chloe Webb, form tutor for the 12-09 form group, said: “We wanted to do something that would reflect the endurance of people suffering from mental health issues, as so often they have to be extremely brave and resilient, challenging themselves to do the things we take for granted.”
