Eleven fire crews sent to scene of bungalow blaze on Holme Close in Runcton Holme

Dozens of firefighters were called to a blaze at a residential property on Friday afternoon.

Crews were sent to the scene of the fire at a bungalow on Holme Close in Runcton Holme at around 12.48pm.

Appliances from Lynn, Downham, Fakenham, Swaffham, Methwold, Thetford, Watton and Dereham responded to reports of the incident.

A spokeswoman for the fire and rescue service said a stop was called to the incident at 3.18pm.

“A reinspection took place that evening to make sure all the fire was out,” she added.
