Entries now open for Farmers Weekly Awards 2020

Farmers from across North West Norfolk are being invited to enter a national awards scheme which celebrates the best of British farming.

The Farmers Weekly Awards recognises those who are leading the way in building a profitable, sustainable future, and inspire others to do the same – or even better.

The 15 categories cover a multitude of sectors from livestock to arable and advisers to young farmers.

In addition, the Farmer of the Year Award is selected by Farmers Weekly and the Farm Innovator selected by the judges from the finalists.

The awards also take nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award and Farming Champion from anyone.

Judging is carried out by a panel of industry leaders and experts in agriculture in a two step process.

Entries can be made by farmers and businesses or people can nominate those who they think deserve recognition for their contribution towards the farming industry.

The 2020 awards will take place on October 1 at a glittering ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London. The 2019 awards were attended by 1,100 farmers, advisers, industry leaders and representatives.

The closing date for entries is April 30.
