Phil Davies said: “Friday involved 60 miles before lunch to The Nook at Framingham Earl, before reaching the Tree House at Ipswich in the early evening, a total of 131 miles in the day.

“Then on Saturday it was 60 hilly miles to Milton, near Cambridge, before arriving back at Lynn after another 114 miles, for a well earned rest and recovery.

“We were unaware that the hospices have to rely so heavily on fundraising to provide the excellent facilities and support they give.

It was a privilege to visit, and we are happy to be able to make just a small contribution.”

The fab four have raised £760 so far with a target to reach £1,000, visit here for further information.

Mark Gregory, from Dersingham, said: “It was a real leveller visiting the hospices where the nurses provide end of life care to children.

“I don’t know how they do it.”

Tina Burdett, community fundraising manager at EACH, said: “They visited three hospices over two days and we had a small team to meet them at each one with refreshments and cheer them on.

“We have amazing support from Priory Rotary and whenever individuals get involved to fundraise it is inspiring and we are really grateful.”
