Failing to provide specimen leads to interim driving ban when King's Lynn man appears before magistrates
The case against Ramunas Zalnierukynas was adjourned by Lynn magistrates on Thursday to tie in with another matter already being dealt with.
Zalnierukynas, 46, of St Edmundsbury Road, Lynn, was in court charged with failing to provide a specimen having been suspected of drink-driving in Lynn on June 6.
The court heard from his defence solicitor Ruth Johnson that he had previously appeared in court on July 4 on an allegation of common assault when the case had been adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
She argued this latest case should be adjourned to tie in with that so Zalnierukynas could be sentenced for everything at once.
Magistrates agreed and Zalnierukynas was granted unconditional bail until September 19. They also imposed an interim driving ban given the guilty plea to the failing to provide offence.
