Police in Fakenham are holding an awareness day this week to help residents avoid becoming victims of postal, email or telephone scams.
Officers are working with the town’s Barclays bank to hold the event at the Market Place branch this Thursday between 9am and 1pm.
Police and bank staff will be attending the session, which is intended to help people learn about how they can best protect themselves from scams.
It also aims to provide a forum to discuss scams that residents have either received or been caught out by.
