Organisers have high hopes that the fourth annual Beer and Folk Festival in Fakenham will be bigger and better than ever.

The popular event will be tinged with sadness this time round following the death last year of one of its most enthusiastic supporters, Mark Baldwin.

His girlfriend, Tammy, has sponsored one of the beer barrels in his memory and Mark’s name will be inscribed on the beer glasses which have been sponsored by Aldiss.

The community centre will again be the venue for the festival which runs from Friday, March 20, to Sunday, March 22.

Kick Start Fakenham thanked all the local businesses who have provided generous support and is delighted that at least a dozen local rock and folk groups have agreed to perform throughout the weekend. Funds raised over the three days will help Kick Start finance the summer fair in August and provide entertainment for the Christmas lights switch-on day.
