Cranmer House in Fakenham has, for the second year running, been voted in the top 10 of all care homes in the East of England by renowned website carehome.co.uk.
The website invites residents, families and friends to submit their impartial views via recommendation cards. Nationally over 45,000 nominations were received between January 2014 and February 2015 to contribute towards the awards.
Cranmer received an average of 9.85 out of 10 in their recommendations.
Kirsty Sleightholme, manager at Cranmer House, said: “The team here at Cranmer House are over the moon at being recognised for the hard work that each and everyone of us puts into running the service.
“This includes all care and support staff, domestics, catering, admin and support and volunteers. We like to treat all of our residents as if they were our own family and how we would all want to be treated.
“The atmosphere is relaxed and a real home from home feeling is felt by our residents, their families and visitors.”
Cranmer House is operated by Norse, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Norfolk County Council.
