Family pay tribute to 'sorely missed' Necton man following fatal A47 collision




The family of a Necton man who died in a collision on the A47 earlier this month have said he will be "sorely missed."

Peter Stebbings, 78, died following the three-vehicle crash on the A47 at Little Fransham on Friday, March 6.

A lorry driver in his 40s, and from the Dereham area, also died in the collision which happened at about 10.45am.

Mr Stebbings' family said, in a statement issued via Norfolk Police: "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Peter Stebbings, husband to Josie, father to Janette, father-in-law to Kevin, and Grandad to Will and Henry.

"He was a dear friend to many, an avid speedway supporter, and a keen gardener.

"He will be sorely missed and the family would appreciate some privacy at this difficult time."
