Family pays tribute to talented badminton player killed in Swaffham crash

LEARN MOREThe family of a teenager who died in a crash on the A47 at Swaffham last weekend have paid tribute to him.
Bradley Smith, who was 18 and from Norwich, suffered fatal injuries in an incident at the McDonalds roundabout last Sunday evening.
This morning, his family, in a statement issued through Norfolk Police, said: "Bradley was a wonderful, loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
"He was one of Norfolk's most talented young badminton players who had recently been selected for the Norfolk Senior County Second Team.
"He will be greatly missed by everyone, who had the pleasure of knowing him, due to his kind, caring and funny personality.”
An inquest into his death is due to be opened later this morning.
A police investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
