King's Lynn's Fawkes In The Walks back with a bang
Remember, remember the fifth of November ... and last night Lynn once again did as Fawkes in the Walks made a triumphant return.
Last year the pandemic forced the cancellation of the popular fireworks event but there was no stopping it this time and thousands flocked to The Walks to enjoy it.
A tweet from King's Lynn Police who assisted with the marshalling of the event summed it up: "Great to see a packed arena again."
The area’s biggest free fireworks display and bonfire is organised by West Norfolk Council, brings thousands of local residents, and visitors from near and far, to Lynn’s beautiful park to see a traditional bonfire and a dazzling firework display.
There were also plenty of stalls and rides to enjoy.
Harry Humphrey, the borough may, began proceedings by lighting the bonfire before The Chebbs performed on stage ahead of the grand fireworks display.
