Lynn’s free annual fireworks display, Fawkes in The Walks, is due to go out with a bang this evening to celebrate tomorrow’s Guy Fawkes Day.
The Walks is set to be packed with stalls and rides from 6pm, with the bonfire being lit by borough mayor David Whitby at 6.30pm.
The main firework display will start at 8pm.
The event is free to attend but a voluntary collection will be made to help cover the costs. Charges may be made for other activities.
It is advised that children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult, and that pets should not be brought to the park.
The entrance to The Walks from Seven Sisters/Extons Road will be closed from 7.45pm and anyone planning to enter the park from that end is advised to use the Tennyson Avenue entrance instead.
