The final performance of a pantomime in West Norfolk fell victim to Covid.

The Princess Theatre had to cancel the final show of its pantomime Aladdin on New Year's day after cast members tested positive on New Year's Eve.

A statement issued on New Year's Eve said: "It is with deep regret and sadness that due to two members of the cast testing positive for Covid-19 this afternoon, we cannot go ahead with our final performance of Aladdin tomorrow.
