Norfolk Restaurant Week sees more than 80 eateries take part
Norfolk Restaurant Week, now in its seventh year, is set to be bigger than ever with more than 80 eateries throughout the county signing up.
Dozens of restaurants across West Norfolk are participating in the 'week' which is actually longer, running from October 28 to November 8, and excludes the weekend which falls in the middle.
During the event, diners get to choose from fixed-price special lunch or dinner menus in some of the county’s finest restaurants, pubs, café’s and hotels. Restaurants will offer either two courses for £12 and three for £17 or two courses for £18 and three for £23.
The Victoria at Holkham is one of the participants. Ben Hunter-Watts, managing director said: "Michael Chamberlain, our head chef has taken part in Norfolk Restaurant Week in his previous position prior to taking on the running of the kitchen here at the Victoria.
"He is excited to have the opportunity this year to showcase the fantastic local and estate-raised produce he is so passionate about using here at the Vic on his restaurant week menu."
Norfolk’s largest leading independent holiday lettings agency, Norfolk Cottages, is headline sponsor for the second year running. A separately branded sister event, ‘Norwich Restaurant Week’, will also be running at the same time.

Lynn restaurants who have signed up to take part are Soul Café and Restaurant, Marriott’s Warehouse, Bank House, Goldings, The Rathskeller, and the Riverside Restaurant.
A new participant this year is The Black Horse at Castle Rising.
Others in the West Norfolk area are Timbers Country Lodge, Fincham; Congham Hall, Congham; The Three Horseshoes Pub, Roydon; The Ffolkes, Hillington; The Crown Inn, East Rudham; Sculthorpe Mill, Sculthorpe; The Rose & Crown, Snettisham; Heacham Manor Hotel, Heacham; The King William IV Country Inn & Restaurant, Sedgeford; Caley Hall Hotel and The Lodge, both in Old Hunstanton.
