Modern gastro dining in The Farmhouse, Fincham
The Hayloft Bar and Restaurant at the newly appointed Farmhouse at Fincham has been refurbished and is looking forward to you paying it a visit.
Formerly known as Timbers Country Lodge, it is a barn with character which can also double as a wedding reception venue.
Offering stable bedrooms, chalets, family rooms and suites for overnight stays it is situated on Lynn Road in the idyllic village.
Decorated inside beautifully with Christmas trees this would be a perfect getaway during all seasons.
With excellent friendly and professional service led by General Manager Martin Howard, a bridal suite is available plus flexible spaces inside and out for special occasions .
Attentive hospitality staff Tori Jordan and Sarah Roberts were chatty and conscientious delivering delicious courses including two Sunday roasts in a paella pan.
The starters, soup of the day (winter vegetable with deep flavours), and potted salmon with bread crisps, were equally as tasty.
Belly pork with crackling and turkey with all the trimmings included parsnips, carrots, roast potatoes, light and crisp Yorkshire puddings, red cabbage and delicious cauliflower cheese.
Gravy and cranberry and apple sauce, stuffing and pigs in blanket meant the main course was extremely good value and filling.
A large variety of desserts are also home made by head chef Shane Wagg with a selection of fruit sorbets light and palate cleansing.
Open daily serving lunch and dinner The Farmhouse also caters for afternoon tea, children with the Little Farmers' menu and provides an intimate setting for an exceptional meal out.
The Pavilion and marquee means that all occasions can be catered for, and also Christmas party nights with a Winter Wonderland theme
Closing at 4pm on Christmas Eve through until the New Year the party on New Year's Eve is aptly named Wellies, White Ties and Diamonds Gala.
