Fire alert in West Norfolk village

Emergency crews were called to tackle a blaze in a West Norfolk village last night.
Three units were sent to the scene of a building fire in Northwold, which was reported shortly before 10pm on Friday.
The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said units from Downham, Methwold and Thetford tackled the incident, which was recorded as being resolved at around 10.50pm.
Earlier in the evening, a crew spent around 40 minutes working to release a deer which had become trapped in a gate on Whitelands, Fakenham. The incident was first reported at around 8.10pm.
