Fire service in King's Lynn is seeking participants for personal development course

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service is seeking participants – unemployed people aged between 16 and 25 – for its Prince’s Trust Team Programme, which starts this month.

A taster day will be held at King’s Lynn North Fire Station from 11am to 1pm tomorrow, with the new team starting on Monday, January 20.

The free 12-week personal development course aims to make people more confident, motivated and improve their ability to work with others.

The programme offers the opportunity for those on the team to gain new skills and qualifications, as well as the chance to mix with new people and to make a difference in the community.

Officials say the course will not cost members of the team anything – and they will receive free travel expenses, a Prince’s Trust certificate and an emergency First Aid certificate.
