Firearms officers called to reports of man making threats in Fakenham

Investigations are continuing after police, including specialist firearms officers, were called to an address in Fakenham last night.

Units were called to a property in Greenway Lane following reports that a man had been making threats.

Posts on the North Norfolk Police Twitter account said that, despite a search, no person or weapons had been found.

They added: "Local officers are still conducting enquiries into the circumstances of the incident. Be assured, there is no risk to the wider public."
