Puppy freed from sofa trap at King's Lynn home

Firefighters were called to an address in North Lynn this morning after a puppy became trapped in a sofa.

Emergency crews attended a place in Browning Place shortly after 7.30am today.

The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said town-based crews spent around 20 minutes at the scene to rescue the animal.

Overnight, crews also responded to an activated fire alarm in Seagate Road, Hunstanton, which was found to be a false alarm. The incident was reported at around 12.50am.
