Hundreds of pounds have been given to Swaffham’s First Responders following a trolley dash hosted by the town’s Lions.

A total of £459 was raised during the event, which was held at the Tesco store in Brocks Road last month.

Training officer Steve Hammond, pictured above accepting the cheque, said the money would be used to help fund new equipment for the group, which provides an initial response to emergencies before ambulance staff arrive at the scene.
