The Custom House, Lynn’s historic Tourist Information Centre, is running a fun activity for children over the summer holidays, celebrating the town’s maritime history.
“Fish and Ships” will be fun for all ages, with lots of different activities.
A museum handling box can be explored where children can get a real grip on the past in this treasure trove of hands-on fun.
Visitors can design their own fish and make a card in a fun colouring activity.
Younger children can hunt for hidden fish and ships around the ever-popular maritime exhibition, return them to a member of staff and collect a prize.
Older children can grab a treasure map and bring a pirate gang to justice by finding their secret name, and collect a bounty.
Starting from Saturday, the event will continue throughout the summer holidays until September 4.
Opening times are 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and midday to 4pm on a Sunday.
The event costs £1 for adults and 50p for children.
The event provides a great opportunity to combine some seafaring fun with a chance to find out more about the wide range of attractions King’s Lynn and West Norfolk have to offer.
