A flashmob by three chapters of Red Hat Society members brought shopping at Lynn’s Hardwick Tesco store to a standstill on Tuesday.
Around 30 members from the Lynn’s Ruby Reds, Hunstanton’s Sunny Hunny Belles and the Gaddabout Girls from Wisbech had been busy rehearsing five numbers for four months.
Members were shopping incognitio before ditching their coats and donning their red hats after Here Come The Girls was played. They danced to Cabaret, Achey Breaky Heart, Macarena, When I’m 64 , Blame it on the Boogie and Little Help from My Friends.
Kathy Cox, of the Ruby Red, said: “It was a bit like Strictly Come Dancing with the Red Hat ladies. It was really nice and a lot of fun.” mlnf14am12007
