LEARN MOREPlans to convert part of a former Downham cinema into studio flats will go before borough councillors next week.
Community leaders are opposed to the idea of turning what was the central commercial hall of the old Regent Cinema on the High Street into four apartments.
But West Norfolk Council officials argue the plan will add "vibrancy" to the town centre.
