Four arrested after man shot in Bawsey disturbance

Two men and two youths are in custody after a man was shot and injured during a disturbance near Lynn in the early hours of this morning.

Police say they were called to Bawsey Mill at 1.48am today following reports that shots had been fired in the area.

A spokesman said the man who was hurt was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn with minor injuries.

A man in his 40s and two young male teenagers were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

A second man, in his 20s, was detained on suspicion of possession of firearms.

They all remain in police custody in Lynn. An air weapon was seized in the incident.
