Four people, including a child, rushed to hospital following two-vehicle crash on Downham Market’s Bridge Road




Four people, including a child, have been taken to hospital with injuries following a two-vehicle crash on a town road.

Two ambulances and a rapid response team were called to Bridge Road in Downham at 8.10am this morning, after reports of a collision between two cars.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after, and the road was closed.

Fire crews from Downham and Lynn attended to free vehicle occupants using hydraulic rescue equipment.

Four people, with injuries believed to be minor, have been taken to hospitals including a child and an adult man who were taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

The road was later reopened at 10.22am.
