Two people injured as four-vehicle crash shuts A149 at Sandringham

A four-vehicle crash closed one of West Norfolk's busiest roads this morning.

At least two people are thought to have suffered minor injuries in the incident on the A149 at Sandringham, which happened shortly after 9am today.

Fire crews from Lynn, Hunstanton and Downham were sent to the scene and freed occupants from the wreckage.

Police said the road was closed while the vehicles were recovered.

Drivers were earlier urged to avoid the area because of the incident.
