East Anglian Women In Business hold event at Downham Market to mark International Women's Day

Groups from across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire which belong to a women's networking organisation are due to all meet up for the first time at an event at Downham Town Hall.

East Anglian Women In Business (EAWIB) have planned it on Monday, March 9, to celebrate International Women's Day the day before.

Sarah Fairbrother, EAWIB founder and a director at Ward Gethin Archer solicitors said: “It is the first time the groups have had the chance to meet under one roof. There will be lots of opportunity to network with other local business women and make connections as well as listen to talks from some interesting speakers.”

It will be opened by Downham Town Mayor Becky Hayes.

It is open to all business women, regardless of whether they have attended EAWIB meetings previously. To register for a place, go to http://eawib.co.uk/ and fill in the contact us form.

EAWIB groups meet every month in Downham, Fakenham, Lynn, Swaffham, Dereham and Ely.
