Great Bircham will get a bit of a French twist this weekend when the sixth annual French Fair transforms the village into a bustling French market.
Featuring all your favourite French delights from French breads and cheeses, to the cafe’s renowned French onion soup, the event will run from 11am to 4pm.
The organisers said: “Last year the newly appointed Children’s Officer provided a fun-filled haven for the children, this year their tent will be even more filled with surprises, art activities and a treasure hunt.
“There will also ve a card competition for the Queen’s 90th birthday and the National Childbirth Trust will be with us too.”
Throughout the day there will be French music , a chance to enjoy paintings in the ‘Montmatre’ and enjoy the patisserie stalls.
Royal hampers have been donated for the raffle by the Queen and the Prince of Wales. All proceeds will go towards much needed repairs in the church but admission is free.
