Pupils at Denver VC Primary School take part in robotics day
Pupils at Denver VC Primary School had an exciting day learning about robotics and got the chance to design their very own robot which could help people in future.
Last Friday, Ben Allen from the University of the West of England visited the school, bringing a team of robots with him which are designed to help improve people’s lives.
Year 3 and 4 students took part in the activity day- with a task that their robot could help people in the future.
After trying them out the children were then be asked to think about their own ideas for ‘robot helpers’. The children then presented them to a panel of judges including Ben and Sarah Dungay, one of the school’s Governors.
Each child who took part in the day got a certificate of participation and the winners received a trophy.
