Three crews tackle garage blaze in West Norfolk village

Firefighters were called to tackle a garage blaze in a West Norfolk village yesterday evening.

Service chiefs say three crews were despatched to the fire in St Johns Road, Tilney St Lawrence, which was reported just after 6.20pm on Thursday evening.

Units from Lynn, Terrington and West Walton attended the incident.

Earlier in the day, personnel from the Outwell station dealt with what officials described as an "unattended bonfire" in Silt Road, Nordelph.

The incident was reported at around 4.35pm, after an earlier call in the same area was found to be controlled burning.
