Budding singers from across West Norfolk and further afield will have the chance to hit the high notes as part of a ‘Gareth Malone style’ singing day
on Saturday, October 3 (10.30am to 5pm) at Feltwell’s St Mary’s Church.
Lead by Chris Parsons, a prominent local musician and musical director of the Thetford Singers, the day will include African tribal songs, English
folk songs and many other musical genres.
Sue Garland of St Mary’s Aisle Project explained: “It promises to be a relaxed and fun day with no auditions or singing alone. It will be pure enjoyment for anyone who likes to sing whether that be in the shower, the car or in public.
“At the end of the Singing Day we’ll be holding a short concert for family and friends which will give the participants a chance to shine and demonstrate what they have learnt from Chris.”
