GCSE Results 2019: Fakenham Academy

Officials at Fakenham Academy are looking forward to a bright future following the publication of its students' GCSE results this morning.

Fifty-seven per cent of pupils achieved 9-4 grades in both English and Maths, down by one per cent on last year.

But principal Richard Evans said he was encouraged by growth in higher grades and the proportion of students planning to stay on at the school for further study.
