Beaupre Community Primary School in Outwell has been donated a shed by Downham Market Freemasons

A school has been handed a generous donation to help with an exciting pupil project.

Beaupre Community Primary School in Outwell has been given a cheque for £450 by Downham Freemasons.

The money has been used to buy a shed for a woodland 'forest school' project. Constructing the shed means youngsters can store all their woodland equipment nearer to the woods.

Deputy head teacher Mikaila Monck at Beaupre has spearheaded the woodland initiative to give pupils an opportunity to develop woodland skills and experience non-classroom learning in a safe environment. She intends to push the project further with more equipment, visiting instructors and special events.
