Boaters enjoyed visiting Lynn over the weekend after mooring up on the town’s pontoons.
A total of 10 boats had used the pontoons, which were installed by West Norfolk Council, during the Easter Bank Holiday.
A council spokesman said: “The pontoons were at full capacity on Friday, Saturday and Sunday which was an excellent start to the boating season which we hope will continue over the coming weeks.
“Many of those that stayed over the Easter weekend have already expressed an interest in returning in June, July and August which is great news.”
The pontoons were installed on South Quay, outside Marriott’s Warehouse, during the summer of 2013.
There has been some criticism of the £160,000 spent by West Norfolk Council on installing the pontoons on the quayside and their perceived underuse – including from Jo Rust, Labour’s parliamentary candidate in North West Norfolk.
