Runners have raised £1,300 for Red Wellies, the Lisa Wiles Foundation.
A group from the CITB college at Great Bircham raised the money by completing the Grand East Anglian Run earlier this year. Alison Clark from the CITB also raised £217.
The runners presented the money to Lisa’s father Mervyn Wiles last week and our picture shows, from left, Laura Anderson, Mervyn Wiles and Jo Rust(Red Wellies charity), Sarah Reynolds, Laurence Kimber, Clare Saunders, Tara Curry, Charlie Skinn, and Ellen Taylor.
The charity has also been boosted by a number of other donations. Players from the Red Wellies football team took on a MacMillan team in July and raised £187, Roger and Sheila Davy made £1,030 at their garden party in Gayton while Adrian Flux Insurance raised £481 during a dress down day.
