A host of medieval artefacts were uncovered on Saturday when a learning and collection dayschool took place in Gaywood.

Some 1250s to 1450s grimston ware was unearthed along Wootton Road, Gaywood, measuring around 40cm in length. There was also cut bone from cows and birds.
