Dersingham Guides organised a coffee morning and bingo evening on Saturday, to raise funds for the group's activities in 2022.

They gathered in nearly £400 from the two events held at the Dersingham Scouts and Guides headquarters in the village's Manor Road.

Guide leader Elizabeth Wheeler explained the funds will go mainly towards the Guides' summer camp in August, and said: "We were extremely gratified we made that amount of money.

"It will help very much with the activities the Guides will be doing in camp.

"There was enough response to make it worthwhile. There was a good response from the Guides themselves and the families in the village.

"All of the Guides – Rainbows, Brownies and Guides – hold regular coffee mornings and bingos to raise money."
