King’s Lynn GH Hair Design salon staff’s hair-raising raffle in aid of Norfolk and Waveney MIND
A fundraiser at a hair salon has raised money for a mental health charity.
Gemma Harvey, owner at GH Hair Design, St Ann’s Fort, Lynn organised a raffle in aid of Norfolk and Waveney Mind during Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
Customers were able to buy raffle tickets in the salon with the chance of winning prizes from Middleton Golf Course, Alive Corn Exchange, Original Ghost Tours, Fen Zen, Wild Oak Workshops and many more.
Mrs Harvey said: “We are delighted that we raised £275.
“As a salon, mental health and wellness is at the absolute core of our business, we create an environment that is unique.
“We provide individual styling stations to create a one-to-one salon experience and a relaxation lounge for clients.
“Our team helps clients to switch off from the busy world that we live in and the ever-growing to do lists.
“We create a feeling of importance and value to ensure all of our clients leave with the confidence everyone deserves.
“As a team we know how important it is to take care of your mental health and we are always encouraging our clients to do the same.”
