Junior school student draws on the support of Harry Kane

A globally renowned sporting star has approved of a West Norfolk schoolgirl's creativity.

England’s famous football captain Harry Kane was full of praise for a drawing by a Howard Junior School pupil on Friday.

Seven-year-old Ellie Murphy had praised the NHS for the effort they are showing during this extra difficult time.

In response to being sent the photo on social media, the England and Tottenham striker said: “Well done Ellie great drawing, the nurses and doctors are doing a great job.”

Kane had previously asked students to send him their work praising the NHS staff.

He said: "With schools shut and everyone staying home, I’d like to set some youngsters the task of drawing the incredible NHS doctors, nurses, ambulances.

"Be as creative as you like."

It was not the first time Ellie had displayed her creative talents as shown by the below picture in which she dressed up as Alice in Wonderland for World Book Day.
