Heacham Junior School has kept its rating as a good school in its latest Ofsted inspection.
A report which was published on Friday found that the headteacher and other school leaders were providing good leadership and that, therefore, there was good teaching and achievement in the classroom.
Pupils’ behaviour was good and they enjoy coming to school.
Safeguarding arrangements are “exceptionally good” and pupils are making good progress in reading, writing and maths.
Children with special educational needs are getting good support at the school.
However, the school fell short of being outstanding as there still needs to be more done to challenge the most-able of pupils, particularly in writing and maths.
