Over 100 Santas of all shapes and sizes flocked from all over Norfolk to gather at The Walks in Lynn on Sunday for the annual fundraising Santa Dash for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House.
The fourth annual event was the biggest one yet, with 121 Santas of all ages taking part, ranging from babies in pushchairs to their grandparents, many coming from as far as Wells-next-the-Sea and Outwell to take part.
Rebekah Mills, marketing manager for the charity, said: “Our biggest ever Santa Dash was a huge success. The weather was great and everyone had a fantastic time. Hoping to raise lots of money for the Hospice through the sponsorship from the participants.
“Lots of people dashed, some however, preferred to have a gentle stroll. Thanks to all of our sponsors, runners, supporters, volunteers and marshalls, and Norfolk Event Medical Services for supporting the event! And a huge thanks to everyone who took part on the day.”
The Santas took on one of two courses, a 5km or a 1.5km route, and completed it in their own time, after calling on friends and family to support them by sponsoring the attempt.
The team at The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, have yet to collect in all donations and sponsorship, but are expecting a lot thanks to the dedication of the fundraisers.
